It's officially begun...

The belly touching. Not that I mind or anything, but it is a little weird! I used to be so sensitive about my mid section, but now I am proud to show off my baby bump! And now people feel the need to touch it. I'm definitely OK with that, but it is kind of strange. Someone said they never minded it when they were pregnant except when a guy did it. I agree, unless it were Brian, I wouldn't want a guy touching my belly. Is that weird?

Anyways, Brian and I went and saw my cousin David and his wife Janice on Saturday. They just had a baby boy 2 weeks ago. He is super cute!! And tiny! He hiccups a lot and has the cutest sneeze.

On Sunday we went to a Me n Momz Consignment store in Issaquah and it was awesome! I bought 5 bottles that normally cost $10 each, and I got them all for $15. SWEET!

Last night Brian and I picked out 2 names for our daughter. We're going to wait until she is born to see if one fits her better than the other. The names are Jordan Elaine and McKenna Rita.

Thats all for now, I think we're going to take a new belly pic tonight since I am 22 weeks today, WOW!

Baby Registries

Let me tell you this. Registering for a new baby is very confusing, overwhelming and exhausting. But we survived!

Brian and I went to Target and Babies R Us on Saturday and registered in the stores. Then today I created a registry online at Wal Mart.

Some of the registries have the same items in case certain people prefer shopping at a particular store.

Our bedding and nursery theme is Classic Winnie the Pooh. We will gladly take anything in pink though! Also, gift cards will be helpful as well.

It's a GIRL!!

Brian and I found out today that we will have a wonderful baby girl! We are both so excited! (Brian is already making plans for when she has boyfriends! aka shotgun) haha! Anyways, the appointment went well and we got to see arms, legs, feet, the heart, and the face. Brian also got to hear the heartbeat for the very first time! It was so cool!

Welcome To Our Blog

Hi Everyone!

We have decided to jump on the Blog bandwagon and share our amazing experience with our great friends and families.

As most of you know, we are expecting our first child on August 4th, 2009. We will find out if we are having a boy or a girl on Monday March 16th. Our appointment is at 3:00 p.m. so we will update the site shortly after.

So far the pregnancy has been good, with a bit of nausea at the beginning. Drisana's belly has popped out and she is starting to feel the baby move. On Friday Drisana ate Jello and Baby Tobin was doing somersaults!!! For now, we've nicknamed the baby Jello Jiggler.
